Three Bombs Uncovered in Bayero University, Kano.

Unknown persons, Tuesday morning
planted multiple high calibre time bombs in
three locations at the Bayero University Kano
(BUK) old campus in the commercial city.
The location are the Faculty of Science,
Sports Complex and in front of the Sub-
Dean's office, Faculty of Law of the school.
Eyewitness account told Vanguard that "a
strange object was found in front of the
Faculty of Law.
The account further revealed that the police
were alerted who quickly deployed its men to
the scene adding that "everybody around the
area has been evacuated to safety"
There is a total confusion as students and
lecturers and non-accademic staff could be
seen running out of the campus", an
eyewitness told Vanguard
Tuesday incident is the second in recent
weeks as similar high calibre bombs was
uncovered two weeks ago at the Sociology
Department of the institution.
Confirming the incident, the police Image
maker in the state, ASP Magaji Musa Majia told
Vanguard on phone that the police were
alerted by the authorities of BUK..
Magaji Musa Majia revealed that the
Command has deployed anti Bomb disposal
squad to the scene.

Fashola Shuts Down Ikeja Mosques...Says Porous Borders Are To Blame For Boko Haram Attacks

Lagos State Government, yesterday, said terrorists attacks in the country, which had led to the deaths of several Nigerians were orchestrated by Malians and Chadians, blaming the porosity of the borders for the infiltration of mischievous foreigners into the country.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has called on Nigerians to join hands in the fight against terrorism, saying that security agencies alone cannot win the war.
Governor Babatunde Fashola, at a five-day seminar/training workshop on Democracy, Peace Building and Conflict Management for the Military, at the Nigerian Army College of Logistics, NACOL, noted that the security and checks at the nation's borders was nothing, compared to what was obtained in Cameroun and other neighbouring countries' borders.
He called for proper policing of the borders to check the influx of terrorists into the country.
Represented by his Special Adviser on Politics and Legislative Matters, Mr. Muslim Folami, Fashola stressed the need for state police, noting that it was only under such a situation that a state governor indeed, be called the chief security officer of his state.
As part of security measures to check threat of likely attack on the state, Fashola said the central mosque in Ikeja had been shut down temporarily, while proper checks on vehicles going in and out of Alausa had been intensified.
Earlier, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt-General Azubuike Ihejirika, who was represented by the General Officer Commanding 81 Division, Major-General Kenneth Minima, said the seminar could not have come at a better time than now, following the current security challenges facing the country.

Oyo State Donates N5 Million To Yekini's Kids

The Oyo State government has established an
endowment fund for children of the late
Nigerian ex-international, Rashidi Yekini.
This was made known yesterday after the
State's Executive Council meeting by the
Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dapo
Lam-Adesina.
According to him, the endowment fund,
which will be strictly for the children of the
late football star, would be managed in
conjunction with the family of the deceased.
This is a good thing, sad though that no one came to his aid when he was ill.

Two Medical Personnel Rape Unsuspecting Job Applicant!

Two medical personnel attached to
the federal government owned Irrua
Specialist Hospital, Irrua , Edo State have
been arraigned before an Ekpoma Magistrate
Court for allegedly raping a 25 year old girl
after allegedly administering her with
injection.
The accused persons are Dr. Ndukwe Kalu, a
Pharmacist and Eriyo Omoregie,a medical
doctor. They were accused of raping and
assaulting the woman (name Withheld) at
Ebhokhuala Quarters of Ekpoma, Esan West
Local Government Area of Edo State.
Police prosecutor, Mr. Nicholas Ogbadu told
the court presided over by Mrs. M. Iluobe that
the accused persons conspired among
themselves to rape, raped and assaulted the
woman in breach of section 355 of the
criminal code of the defunct Bendel State,
also applicable in Edo State.
The plaintiff, while narrating her ordeal before
the court alleged that Dr. Omoregie lured her
to his abode at Ebhoakhuala on February 29,
2012 with a promise to help her secure a job
at the teaching hospital.
Oblivious of his intention, she told the court
that she went to his house with an
application letter as requested by the medical
doctor, whom she had worked for in the past.
She narrated further that in the process of
delivering the letter, Dr.Kalu emerged from
one of the rooms in the house and held her
hands, during which Dr. Omoregie injected
her, adding that having succeeded in
weakening her, Dr. Kalu allegedly took the
advantage and raped her.
She also alleged that she sustain bruises in
her face during the initial struggle, as they
tried to cover her mouth to prevent her from
screaming.
She further alleged that when she regained
strength and sort to leave, she was told that
her clothes had been soaked in water, adding
that at her insistence, she was eventually
given the soaked
clothes which she wore out of the place.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty while
the trial magistrate adjourned the case to May
30, 2012 for further hearing on the case.

Prophet TB Joshua Banned From Cameroun.

The Cameroonian government has blacklisted
Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua of the
Synagogue Church of All Nations, saying that he
is an agent of satan hoodwinking unsuspecting
members of the public with "diabolical miracles".
Cameroon Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Henri
Eyebe Ayissi, in an official communiqué he issued
titled: "The Devil Is In the House", described T.B.
Joshua as a "son of the devil" pretending to be "a
man of God."
The minister warned hundreds of Cameroonians,
trooping to Lagos, South West Nigeria, for
miracles in Joshua's church, to desist from taking
the trip or face the consequences, as the country
will not stand by them.
The communiqué written in French read in part:
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns those who
by naivety or deception of Emmanuel TV's
captivating images, or even those who by
hopelessness, envisage taking the pilgrimage to
Pastor T.B. Joshua's Synagogue Church Of All
Nations in Lagos, that they will do so at their own
risk.
"The Cameroonian Government warns these
pilgrims that they will face the consequences
alone. This is motivated by the painful and
shameful fact that Cameroonian men and women,
in search of deliverance and blessings, once in
that church, find themselves in bestial and
pitiable conditions.
"Women are Molested; pilgrims dispossessed of
their belongings by armed robbers and left to
sleep on the streets at the mercy of gangs. Many
cases of assassinations have even been recorded.
And this is without other cases that are not
recorded at the Cameroonian Embassy in Lagos
with the victims too ashamed to narrate their
infernal odysseys once they are out of Hell," the
minister said.
The minister said that while the bible asks us to
be discreet with gifts and donations to the poor,
T.B. Joshua is seen daily dolling out bags of rice to
indigent people.
It was learnt that hundreds of Cameroonians who
sold their properties or borrowed money in the
hope of getting miracles in T.B. Joshua's Church,
only got disappointed in Lagos.
It was also reported that Prophet TB Joshua's TV
station has gained popularity in Cameroon and
many people are tempted to take the trip and
receive healings and sudden blessings. It says
that Joshua is now in many households in
Cameroon and many people believe the flashy
images they watch on television.

Chinese Woman Shreds About £4,900...Crazy Ish!

Workers at a Chinese bank spent six hours trying to splice threads of 50,000 yuan (about £4,900) together after a mentally ill woman shredded them.
The woman's desperate husband brought the money into the Sichuan branch of the Bank of China to try and get help. It is believed she tore the money to shreds during a mental breakdown.
Twelve staff at the bank offered to help the man after he explained the money was needed to pay for her care.
However, after six hours they had only managed to splice one complete bank note and eventually had to give up. It is not known if the man was able to get help elsewhere.

Oyedepo Fails To Appear In Court For Slapping A Lady Who Called Herself 'A Witch For Jesus'

The founder of the Living Faith Christian Church
International, David Oyedepo, failed to appear in
court on Wednesday when the suit filed against
him for slapping a young lady during a church
service last year was mentioned at the Ogun
State High Court.
A Lagos-based lawyer, Robert Igbinedion,had filed
a suit on behalf of the lady, seeking an award of
N2billion as "general and exemplary
damages"against the popular pastor.
Oyedepo's lawyer, Agboamwu,who showed up on
behalf of the first and second respondents,
namely Oyedepo and the church, pleaded for
time to file a defence.
The court granted the defence five days to
respond to the suit.
Igbinedion had filed for the enforcement of the
lady's fundamental rights to freedom from
inhuman and degrading treatment, human
dignity, fair hearing, and freedom from
discrimination.
Justice Ojo, who heard the case at Court 1, High
Court, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, however,
adjourned hearing till June 1, 2012.
Igbinedion had earlier condemned Oyedepo's
action, referring to the altar call for witches to
come out as "illegal".
Last year, Oyedepo gave the lady a slap during a
church service when she claimed to be "witch for
Jesus" after responding to an altar call made by
Oyedepo for witches to come out.
Igbinedion described the labelling of witches as
"unconstitutional, and a breach of Section 34 of
the Constitution of Nigeria, African Charter on
Human and People's Right, and United Nations
Universal Declaration on Human Right".
The suit is asking the court to compel Oyedepo to
issue a self-signed public apology to the young
lady, which should be published in two national
dailies and aired on one international satellite
television station.
The suit also seeks that a similar altar call be
made for corrupt government officials, bribe-
giving contractors, drug dealers and other
category of sinners who are members of the
Oyedepo's church.

Boko Haram Attack JTF At A Wedding Ceremony In Maiduguri.

The JTF operated on intelligence that two top
Boko Haram members were going to sneak
into the city of Maiduguri to attend a
wedding of one of their own when the troops
mounted surveillance on the venue. The sect members on realising that the JTF
were on surveillance, opened fire sporadically,
leading to the death of three persons.

Spokesperson of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in
Maiduguri, Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa,
said the sect members fired shots
sporadically when they sensed that the
wedding venue was under surveillance
Two of the sect members were arrested while
arms and ammunition used by the attackers
were recovered from their vehicle.

TRAGIC! Lebanese Murdered Nigerian Bureau De Change Operator Over $50,000

This is really sad, i have to ask, i thought hospitals have been told to stop rejecting emergency patients? (The pictures Above are pictures of Sani being taken to the theater and the Lebanese)

A lebanese man along with four other accomplices (two of which are lebanese father and son now at large) connived and killed a bureau de change operator, 35 years old Ali Sani. The Lebanese called sani to meet him in a hotel because he had naira notes which he wanted to change to dollars. Sani rallied round to raise the $50,000 and met up with the man. When sani got to the hotel room, the Lebanese man requested to for the money which sani handed over to him, just then 4 men came out of the bathroom, to cut the story short, Sani was stabbed and the Lebanese man made a run for it but was apprehended with two nigerian accomplices (the other two lebanese men escaped). Sani was alive when they found him and later rushed to the hospital. Sadly 3 hospitals rejected him and the lagoon hospital only agreed to accept him on the payment of N2.5 Million deposit, N750,000 was paid and they commenced treatment. He sadly didn't make it.

There's a twist to this story, when the lebanese man was caught, the money which was in a brief case was handed over to a police officer. But it was later found that only $10, 000 was in the briefcase. Though the lebanese man insisted that the entire money was there. So the police officer who received the briefcase has also been arrested.
